Here’s a video of the Blessing of the SkyScraper. Each year, all the commercial boats line up in the Destin Harbor for a blessing to bring good luck for the 2012 season. As a community foundation and for over 50 years, the annual Blessing of the Fleet takes place in the Destin harbor on Ascension Day. On that day, pastors gather to bless each charter fishing boat for safe passage and bountiful catches.
